Lychee Oolong – Natural Oolong tea, 50 g

Lychees are a favourite fruit of many Chinese emperors, also known as "Chinese plums", "dragon's eye" or "love fruit". The flavour of lychees is reminiscent of the flavour of an assortment of berries - sweet strawberries, redcurrants and white grapes.

Oolong is a partially fermented (50 %) tea using large, sufficiently mature tea tree leaves. The fermentation process reaches the outer edges and the top of the leaf but does not reach the inner layers of the tea leaf. This type of tea seems to combine the bright aroma of green tea with the rich taste of black tea. If you drink this tea while exercising, you are likely to burn twice as many calories as if you drink regular green tea, as the large leaves contain more caffeine and tannin, which help to activate the body's processes.
